Today is my longest day of the week. It lasts from approximately 4:30 a.m. till 9:00 p.m. on Thursday. Thus caffeine and a bountiful supply of food are musts. To motivate myself to conquer such a day, I usually treat myself to lunch at Moes or Firehouse, and pack sandwiches, spaghetti, candy, chips, and plenty of Dr. Pepper to keep me awake and focused till the end of Thursday. Today however, I had to make other arrangements but, thanks to coupons and specials from McDonalds, it was easy to stay on budget and it was admittedly much more tasty than anything else I have had so far this week.
Breakfast: 3 eggs (.45), grits (.16), Dr. Pepper (.25)
Lunch: turkey sandwich (1.25) Diet Coke (.25)
Dinner: #McDonalds hamburger (.49, Wednesday special), medium fry (free with coupon)
